Crib that funky music hackboy!

I was humming the Orbital remix of the theme to "The Saint" (as heard in the Val Kilmer movie),
and I suddenly veered into "Tank!", the opening theme to "Cowboy Bebop" (I really dig that show).
This puzzled me, so I dissected both musical compositions in my head, and discovered that
they're in fact very similar.

Kinda like the way the first version of the "Futurama" opening theme sounded like that
old French chesnut of the '60s: "Psyche Rock" (from the ballet "Mass For Modern Times).

Stop looking at me like that...
