When it rains, it pours...

I'll make this quick, 'cause LJ here ate my previous entry.

Ever notice that when you're waiting for a bus, 2 or 3 of them go by in the other direction before yours show up?
I don't ride the bus often, but that seems to happen when I do.
(The car ate its transmission, the sib and I are wheel-less)

I had some stuff to do today, so I hopped on the Green Bus and went off to get some lunch.
Then I got to do my good deed for the day:
I pushed a four-door Land Rover to the nearest gas station.
Its driver ran out of gas. Well, I mean the truck was out of gas.
And the lady was having a bad day (and a baby in the back), so she was glad for the help.
She paid me back by dropping me off where I needed to go.

Then, things kinda went downhill from there...
1) I miss the bus back by 30 seconds.
2) It started raining.
3) 3 opposing buses went by before mine showed up.
4) It was full! I still got on though, and only had to growl once.
Plus, I was a head taller than everybody else, so that helped a little. (Grin)
I still got everything done, so that's good.
It took a little longer than expected, and I ended up wetter than expected.

C'est la vie!
