One of the coolest things about iTunes is that it's networkable.
This allows everybody in the office to share their tunes.
As a result, I'm exploring musical areas heretofore (or something) unknown to me.
Like Dead Can Dance.
Gosh, I can see why goths and other angsty people seem to like them.
The word "lugubruous" comes to mind.
To my frame of reference, they're like a less electronic and less beat-oriented version of Delerium,
with quasi-medieval bits thrown in.
Interesting, but not my cup of tea.

Meanwhile, those Coldplay kids are pretty good.
I really like that "Clocks" song, and it's eminently remixeable.
The Royksopp remix is especially tasty, with it's synth-pop underpinnings.
Hmmmmmmm, Electro...

More later...

Oh yeah, I put up pictures of me as Hagrid.
Harry Potter and Hagrid.
Someone in another department had dressed up as Harry Potter, so we posed together.
And this is my cute little 3rd place trophy.
W00T!!!

As I walked home tonight, I heard a persistent engine noise.
It was not a plane or a helicopter and it grew progressively louder.
I looked up...

...And a gigantic airship slowly passed over my head.
It was studded with antennas and lights of many colors.
Large screens on its flanks displayed various messages.
A booming voice suddenly proclaimed...

"A new life awaits you in the Off-World Colonies.
The chance to begin again in a golden land of opportunity and adventure."

I blinked and wiped the sweat from the eyes.
When I looked up again, all I saw was a Good Year blimp lazily floating by.
Damn...
