Chevies, Caddies, Maoris, Cut-Taggies and Squids

Well, enough of these brief bursts of posting and quizziness, time for a REAL entry!

First, some catching up on past events.

( Saturday February 28th: Auto Show In Motion Redux )

Sunday February 29th:
Basically stayed home and puttered around on the computer. Watched and taped the Oscars for the sibling.
Was bummed that "Triplets Of Belleville" lost to "Finding Nemo" but hey, better that than losing to "Brother Bear"!
Meanwhile, "The Two towers" won every single Oscar it was nominated for. Hot damn!!
Fun to see the little Maori girl from "Whale Rider" be all excited about being at the Oscars. More on that movie later.



Saturday March 6th:
The promise of lunch on me enabled me to enlistchythar in helping me run some errands.
When said errands were concluded, we had a late lunch at Chipotle, a new Mexican-ish fast food joint.
If there are Chipotles in your neighborhood, and you like places like Baja Fresh and Poquito Mas,
I heartily recommend that you give Chipotle a try. The food is ultra-fresh and really tasty!
The Chipotle happened to be at the Beverly Center, so we went up to check out the K-B Toys.
Lo and behold, that K-B was closing down. Everything was marked down 40%, and this included Lego sets.
GLEE!!!

And it's time for a new LJ user pic.
This is an insignia I've been trying to find a patch of for a looooooooooong time.
It's for a unit that was attached to Edwards Air Force Base, and it looks like a squid!!
How cool is that?
Though I guess it could also be a B-2 Bomber flying upwards and leaving strange divergent contrails.
But I still say it's a squid! It's Cthulhu Air Force Base!
