Netflixing! You will not find any here.
So I picked up the "Ghost In The Shell: Stand Alone Complex" videogame for my PS2 a while back, and
I started playing it recently. I didn't quite expect to be confronted with so many jumping puzzles.
I mean, seriously, WTF? I have to make these crazy multiple wall-jumps to reach high ledges.
And the Major doesn't seem to be able to jump quite as high as she does in the TV show.
Batou, on the other hand, can barely jump at all, so no jumping puzzles when you control him.
I haven't controlled the Tachikoma yet. I'm curious to see how it handles.
Otherwise, it's not a bad game. There's lots of talking and loading, both par for the course.
It's very much like the TV show in that respect, the talking I mean.
Hacking someone else's e-brain and controlling them like a puppet is rather cool.
I think I'm about halfway through the game. Will report more as I progress through it.
I'm not one for tatoos or piercings (especially piercings), but I suddenly find myself wanting a tatoo.
It's something small and not too obtrusive, and in keeping with my current obsession.
I'd like to get the "Ghost In The Shell" e-brain access plugs tatooed on the back of my neck.
Hair and clothing will half cover it most of the time, so I don't foresee any workplace issues.
I think it would be neat.
Also, I'd like to put a Batou costume together eventually, as mentioned in a prior post.
And in totally unrelated, news: holy crap!!!
Netflixing in next post, I promise.
