Preparation H for the win!
So Black Friday came and went, and I didn't buy anything.
I was too busy SLEEEEEEPING to wake up at 4am to go stand in line to then fight with hopped-up shopping fiends.
I woke up at 10:15 and proceeded to run a bunch of errands, including Trader Joe's, until I returned the rental car at 14:00.
And then I walked a few errands, including a stop at Best Buy to look at the post-BF battlefield,
and to mess with the X-Box 360 a little. Wow, the games look just like PC games with a good graphics card!
Which, come to think of it, was also what the XBox was like.
I scored some $1 Gatorades at Ralphs and went home.
Netflix delivered 3 flicks unto us: "The Village", "War Of The Worlds", and "Yukikaze".
The first is the most recent M. Night Shamalamaramalamadingdong flick.
The second is the Spielberg remake and that is the one we watched today.
The third is a sort of futuristic Top Gun anime.
I will post about "War Of The Worlds" later. It affected me somewhat.
Tomorrow (well, technically today) I will be at LOSCON at the LAX Marriott, or is that the Radisson?
Golly, I better double-check and make sure.
Okay, it IS the Marrrrriotttt!!
Anyway, I'll be there all day. Try the veal!
And now, some old news that makes me laugh: San Francisco residents wave magic wand, make nastybad guns go away.
And now, time for more sleeping!
