WarpGate Update, and random schtuff

So I got a canned e-mail from eMusic about the missing Warp albums.
I replied with an e-mail asking for more detailed information.
This showed up in my e-mail box a few minutes ago:

Thank you for contacting eMusic Customer Support.
I apologize, but the Warp catalogue appeared on the site for less than one day.
Often times, an album will be releases on the site with few or no licensing restrictions.
If the label or distributor place these restrictions, we must remove the albums where appropriate.
This is exactly what happened with the Warp catalog.
Unfortunately, Warp is only available in Germany at this time and we have no word if/when it will be available in the U.S.
Once again, we do apologize for any inconvenience, but these matters are out of our hands and we will continue to try and achieve wider licensing agreements for this kind of content.

Well, poop.
Let's hope they can get the US rights later.
I'm REALLY glad I downloaded them right away!!


So the PS3 is out.
Last night, I was watching "Smallville" on Channel 5 (KTLA, The CW) and they ran three commercials for the PS3.
And all three commercials were the disturbing satanic babydoll.
They also ran a news promo which made me laugh.
"PlayStation 3 Pandemonium! As it gone TOO FAR!?!?" with footage of people in line at Best Buy,
and unrelated footage of a couple of LAPD officers talking to some other people.
DUN-DUN-DUUUUUUUUUUUMMMMMM!!!!!

A taser is a gun-like weapon that fires a metal dart. There's a wire running from the dart back to the gun, and that's how
the electrical charge is delivered. It's a pretty strong charge, supposed to incapacitate the victim for several minutes.
A stungun is a black handheld device of varying size with 2 or 4 electrodes that deliver an elecrical shock when triggered.
The shock is much milder than a taser, the victim is only briefly incapacitated for a few seconds and regains mobility.
Keep this in mind should you ever watch a certain video about a certain someone being supposedly "tasered" by UCLA cops.
Do not let the drama cloud your mind.
