Well, things are getting interesting over here.

As mentioned in previous posts, DJ Pascal (aka The Sibling) got one of his tracks in a film by Luc Besson called "Angel-A".
The film came out in December 2005 in France and has played in 40 countries since. It was #1 in Japan!
It was shown at the Sundance Film Festival recently and got a flippin' standing ovation at the end!
"Angel-A" is a black-and-white romantic comedy filmed entirely in Paris in the wee hours.
It looks absolutely fabulous and it's Luc Besson's return to the director's chair after years of producing and writing.
Those of you in Europe can already buy the DVD in the appropriate language.

It's finally coming to US theaters in a limited engagement (New York and L.A.) on March 23rd 2007.
Sony Classics' website for the US release of the film is here. (You will need Flash)
They haven't put a trailer up yet. But that's okay, because...

There's a small trailer in QuickTime available here.

There's a bigger trailer, also in Quicktime, available here, but it's OMGWTFHUGE at 150 MEGS!!
Somebody at Sony needs video compression lessons.

If all else fails, we're hosting the UK version of the trailer on ZedProd.net. The aspect ratio is a bit wonky though.
Go to the site and click on the "watch the trailer" text under the "Angel-A" title on the start page.

My brother's music is not in the trailer, it's in the movie itself.
It's during most of the nightclub scene (about 10-15 minutes long), and it makes up most of the end credits music.
He is listed as "DJ Pascal And The 13th Tribe" in the credits, and the track is called "The President Dub".
He hasn't gotten any royalties yet, but we expect something in the next few months. Paperwork, le sigh...

In other news, we've added Heather Bruton to the list of featured artists on the ZedProd website.
She is the first furry artist to be added there. Up to now, we've had photographers and painters both local and not.
The Sibling liked her stuff enough to ask me to contact her about being on the ZedSite.
Extra exposure is always good, non?
To see Heather and the other artists, go to ZedProd.net and click on the button next to "Gallery".

Let's see, what else?
Oh yeah, Jean-Louis' Bloom Café is expanding next door and adding pizzas and smoothies to its menu.
As a result, the opening hours are now extended to 10pm, up from 5pm.
And it looks like the sibling will be working there 4 nights a week!
And he's got a gig or two lined up.
And he's going to go onto the studio soon to bang some tunes into shape.
So yeah, stuff is happening.

Me? I'm just waiting to hear that it's safe to do my taxes.
Arnold Schwarzenegger's posse has an eye on me.
Come on Wheels Of Bureaucracy! Turn faster!
