Stax and stax of laughing wax!!
Time for a music post!!
Firstly, ganked from Comrade

List seven songs you are into right now, no matter what the genre, whether they have words, or even if they're not any good,
but they must be songs you're really enjoying now. Post these instructions in your LiveJournal along with your seven songs.
1. "Ocean Drive (Tiga's White Linen Vox)" - FPU - "Electro Nouveau" compilation (CD1 - Track 9)
2. "Flow Coma" - 808 State - "Newbuild" album (Track 2)
3. "Everyday I Die" - Gary Numan - "Hybrid" double-album (CD1 - track 7)
4. "On My Own" - Ulrich Schnauss - "A Strangely Isolated Place" album (Track 2)
5. "Squance" - Plaid - "Double Figure" album (Track 2)
6. "Wisdom (2030 Mix)" - Sean Deason - "Razorback" album (Track 2)
7. "Parallel" - The Black Dog - "Book Of Dogma" double-album (CD2, Track 1)
Hmmmmm, lots of "Track 2"s in this list.
Secondly, in my recent Netflixing post, I posted the chorus lyrics to "Amazin Man" by Idi Amin (with help from John Bird).
Well, golly, since then I've found a downloable MP3 of it right here (right-click - save as).
And Amazon has the CD it's from in stock right here. Only 4 left! Buy now! :D
Thirdly, and in equally absurd music news, eMusic actually has some Spike Jones available, though not much.
They have a crappy album of badly recorded tunes, and another crappy album of his non-funny stuff.
But, but, but, they do have the "(Not) Your Standard Spike Jones Collection" 3-CD compilation!
This not-so-little gem includes a bunch of tracks I've never heard before, as well as some of their WWII material
(yes, "Der Fuhrer's Face", but also "You're A Sap Mister Jap", "Little Bo-Beep Has Lost Her Jeep" and "48 Reasons Why"!).
The only problem is that you're looking at 79 downloads (26+27+26) if you wanna get the whole thing. I get 90 downloads a
month for my $20, so that leaves me just 11 to play with. Then again, Amazon has it for $34.98, so it's still a good deal.
I wouldn't mind giving eMusic more money for a higher monthly download quota. Say, $40 for 200 downloads.
They don't offer anything like that though...
Too bad, because I do find THAT MUCH stuff I like on eMusic.
