Random (Belated #1): Merry Oldsmobile

I've been a baaaaaaad Kzin...

I haven't posted any Random pics since Friday!
Oh me, oh my, whatever shall I do?
Catch up, I guess.
Here's Random for Friday:

This is an ex-colleague's automobile.
It's an Oldsmobile Cutlass convertible.
It's white on the sides and light gray on top.
It has orange-red Chip Foose rims.
It rumbles nicely.

I like cars.

Random (Belated #2): Wild Child

Continuing with the catchupiness.
Here's Random for Saturday:

This is a colleague's kid.
He's zoomin' about the office on the official office mini-bicycle.
Lookit him go!
(Insert comical squeaky sound effects here)
He's sure to grow up to be a teenage heartthrob.
Hands off, ladies!

Random (Belated #3): Moment of geek zen

Finishing with the catchupiness.
Here's Random for Sunday:

Your moment of geek zen.

"Star Trek: The Next Generation" streaming to a Motorola Q device, as photographed with a Motorola RAZR phone.

How did I do it?
It was all part of testing.
1) Slingbox connected to cable TV in manager's office.
2) Downloaded Slingbox client to Motorola Q.
3) Got access codes to Slingbox from Step 1.
4) Tuned Slingbox to Spike TV with Q and caught TNG in progress.
5) Took picture of Q's screen with RAZR when Geordi was in frame.
Voila!

If you travel a lot and watch TV, Slingboxes are darn handy lil' devices.
You can access your home cable/satellite TV and TIVO from anywhere in the world and watch your stuff.
All you need is a device with an Internet connection that can run the Slingbox client.
Laptops are probably best, but something as small as the Motorola Q works too.

We're truly living IN THE FUTURE!!!
