zrath: Zrath-Smiley as a TRON program (Drink)
(The title is an old Perrier slogan. It means, "Perrier, it's crazy!")

As many of you know, I have a drinking problem.
I love sodas and diet sodas and carbonated waters of all kind.
And I like to try new stuff.
And I'm French.
So imagine my surprise and excitement when I saw yesterday at Ralphs PERRIER PAMPLEMOUSSE ROSE!
I'm already fond of Lemon Perrier and I had no idea they were planning a new flavor.
"Pamplemousse rose" is French for "pink grapefruit", and the resulting drink is cool and refreshing.
It smells strongly of pink grapefruit but the actual flavoring is very subtle.
I'm thinking of picking up a couple of extra bottles today.
Ralphs/Krogers has Perrier (all flavors) on sale at 3 (750ml glass bottles) for $4.
That's $1.33 each, and you need the club/rewards/non-tourist card for that price.

I have no idea why "pamplemousse" means "grapefruit" and frankly, what the hell does "grapefruit" mean anyway?
I mean, there's already "grapes" and they're fruits, so why is there a "grapefruit" that has nothing to do with grape?
Well, apparently, "grapefruit" (gra-pay-froo-et) is German for "grapefruit"! Stupid English, stealing from ze Chermans!

Bonus language silliness: in French, "grape" is "raisin". And "raisin" is "raisin sec" (dry grape).
