I'm torn of the Watchmen movie. I'm leery of feeding the machine by going to see something so heavily marketed, Plus, while I liked the book a lot, it was a product of its time and I think that time has kind of passed. I think I'll wait for the DVD mainly because weekends are becoming booked until the dvd comes out.
Speaking of marketing machines, I saw something truly weird at Target the other week. It was "Wolverine and Friends" play set for children aged 7-10 based on the new Wolverine movie. Isn't the movie about what it was that drove him to volunteer for Weapon-X, the project that'd either kill him or give him so much brain damage he'd forget who he ever was?
