Flying doggies!

You know, modern air travel can be no fun for humans, but it's always worse for pets.
But that's about to change!
Introducing the world's first airlines for pets only, Pet Airways! Or PAWS for short.
Yes, this is for real.
As far as I know...

Of course, me being me, the first thing I wondered about was what kind of planes they used. :D
Beech 1900 twin-engined turboprop puddle-jumpers. Noisy but reliable.
And the pets don't get to seat on the seats. They're in pet carriers arrayed in a rack.
At least, they're in the pressurized cabin, so yea for that.
I wish Pet Airways good luck and brisk business.
I know some people who would use their services.

Me being me...I went through and looked for their procedures. The website raises several red flags. There's no pictures of the actual facilities and procedures, no details on how they ensure the safety and health of your pet, no list of shot requirements, no explanation of how any CATS get the supposed 'potty break' since you can't just clip a leash on and take them for a walk and they're better escape artists than dogs are, with more weapons...and do they do 'potty breaks' in the plane for the cross-country flight? Do they keep cats and dogs in separate compartments, or together? What about rabbits and other small animals who'd be scared to death, literally, to be in there with dogs and cats?

Too many questions that SHOULD be answered right there on the website and aren't. Heck, their 'terms of service' page applies only to the website, and not to the actual service.

Hmmmmmm, yes, digging deeper into the site reveals certain shotcomings.
You have raised some valid points. We'll see if the company addresses them in the near-future.
