The film in which I remember Deep Roy more clearly was THE NEVERENDING STORY, where he was the rider of the racing snail. As I recall, his heritage is from England and India and his skin is quite pale, so either they will have to paint him chocolate-color for the Oompa-Loompa role[s], or orange like the previous movie, or do something else entirely.

I love this version of Flash Gordon! I had the privilege of visiting the set in England. The costumes must have used every single glass bugle bead in all of Europe but DAMN they all looked good up close.
