Mmmm, the Magnolia Cafe used to offer a really good Cobb salad.. everything just so. Their Caesar was wonderful, too, but for some weird reason, they recently started using Little Gem lettuce, rather than Romaine, and that just doesn't work. Still, there's plenty else to choose from, including a numptious maple glazed pork chop.. :-9
I dare say the US' consumption of beef is fairly high, but gods, what crap! Unless you go with something like Nieman Ranch, it's as tasty as McDonalds. :-P (On that note, the organic chateaubriand at Whole Paycheck is well worth it - and surprisingly affordable, especially when marked down to $6/lb)
