My, my, my, my, MITCHELL!!

Doop-dee-doo...
As promised, some pictures from various events! (Each link opens a new browser window)
Here are some from the 29th Anniversary Meeting of the C/FO (Cartoon/Fantasy Organization) from back in May:
Mitch "MITCHELL!" Beiro, arteest and husband of Minerva Mink, savors zee burgeur while my brother chokes on a potato chip.
MITCHELL! and DJ Pascal enjoying the bounty provided by the C/FO BBQ and the LASFS fridge.
29th Anniversary Cake, with Ray-O-Vac inspired frosting by MITCHELL!
This is pretty much the only time you'll see MITCHELL! in L.A.
He lives in Tucson, Arizona, though he hits the major cons.
And now, some pics from the Fur-B-Q from two weeks ago, where I got all my bug bites:
The Southern California Bagel-Coon back in his natural habitat after a stay in Unimatrix One, I mean Silicon Valley.
Iron Badger and Zachariah - The Iron Badger is the one with The Iron Gut. Zachariah has the long tongue.
Bob, Stego, and Bob's Friend - Stego is the one in the middle with the dazzling smile. He's wacky!
Traffic accident - Spike from "Angel" showed up, got drunk, and jacked a recumbant rentobike. He promptly plowed into
another rentobike piloted by Zotcoon and his sidekick Sparky. Hilarity ensued! Spike signed autographs sloppily then left.
(Okay, so it wasn't Mardsen, it was a guy who played his body double. He really does look like him though!)
One of the REAL furries in attendance didn't seem very impressed.
The pics from the 4th Of July are not ready (and they're all 1280x960!), so look for them at a later date.
Oh, final bonus pic:
Does this polar bear look like it was drawn by Pat Kelley or what?!?

Actually, that image if the ICEE Polar Bear is old enough (late 1950's) that I wouldn't be surprised if someone famous drew it for the ICEE company (http://www.icee.com/).
I used to have a large beachtowel with that image on it, but I lost it at the 1992 Worldcon in Orlando when I left it poolside... ran back for it about 30 minutes later and it was gone; it was never turned in to hotel lost&found, either.
I've wanted to get another one for a while, but I would have to start collecting 500 "Icee Points" again so that I could order it (http://www.icee.com/stuff.asp?productid=11&productname=ICEEĀ®%20Beach%20Towel). ;)
