LOLKzin!

That's me.
That's my head.
Touching the ceiling of the bus.
I'm NOT standing on tiptoes.
I'm standing flatfooted.
This is the back of the bus.
I guess the "Big" in Santa Monica's Big Blue Bus is a bit of a misnomer.

"No Zrath, I don't think they had Kzins in mind when they built her..."

Living in a world where you are not the right size just sucks ever day. I feel your pain... I'm taking a plane trip tomorrow in coach. Urg.

Oh dear, yes, coach. Argh.
Good luck and godspeed.

You would really not like Japan. *I* had one of those head-hits-the-roof experiences on a tour bus in Tokyo... and I'm only 5'11 (and I couldn't even THINK of taking a seat... I'd be wedged in so tight, I'd never get out!)

How tall are you? I remember meeting you years ago, but figured about 6'6" or so.

Yeah, that's about right.
6'5", 6'6", depends on the weather. :)

BBB makes Kzins ride in the back of the bus?

That's one tough bus company.

Well, the seats with maximum legrooms are up front, and people tend to claim those first, eventhough they are reserved for the handicapped and elderly.
(Is being huge a handicap? Sometimes, I think so.)
So I go to the back of the bus and seat on "The Throne" (middle seat of the very last row, up against the back wall or window).
It's loud back there...
