![[personal profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png)
We apologize for the delay in bringing you the nerve-wracking pulse-pounding conclusion of the LOSCON 2007 Con Report.
The Writers Strike has affected many sectors of the entertainment industry, even Life Journal itself.
The following report was written by a scab Bizarro French Kzin.
Zut alors, growr!! It is Sunday!
Me not know if go or no go to LOSCON!
Sunday usually is le dead for conventions, but what hell, me go!
Me wake up at 2pm, very tired from party last night. Sacrébleu!
Me get to autobus stop, 10 minutes until autobus come, so me go Jamba Juice for lunch smoothie.
Me walk out door, and l'autobus arrive! Merde!
Cars get in way, me can't cross street, me SMASH!!!
Still miss autobus, GRAAAAARR!!!
Me sit down and suck on Acai Antioxidant smoothie. Is red and tasty healthy sludge!
20 minutes and autobus here! Youpie!!
Me finally at con at 4pm.
Me run into Spino, Sweetie and Gizmo.
We go see closing ceremonies with all guests of honneurs. Me take picture!

Me see Fred Patten, say hello Fred. Poor Fred. Me remember Fred from C/FO Santa Monica 1986.
Time for dinner! Me make plans, maybe go to Cozymel with friends like wanted to do Saturday!
Yes, we go Cozymel with Spi, Swee, Giz, Darr-el (he son of Jor-El!), Theresa, Barry, Barry friend Greg (he strange).
Also 2 demoiselles come avec nous, not know their name. They funny!
Me go in Mitsubishi Endeavour (not Space Shuttle) with Barry and strange friend Greg.
Spino and Swee take two funny girls in Ryo-Okimobile (is really Pontiac Vibe).
Darrel take Theresa in Jeep Liberty (funny name for car).
Dinner at Cozymel fun, conversation très bonne, food tasty.
Me check autobus schedule and see last autobus at 9pm. Nom de dieu!!
Me ask Barry drop me off at autobus stop next to hotel.
He do and me get there on time.
Autobus come, me get on and go home.
LOSCON over!
You know what? Spino strange. Maybe he Bizarro French Kzin mommy?

Well, Fred was in his wheelchair. He looked about the same.
He saw me approaching and said "hi Zrath". I walked with him a little bit and chatted.
Yeah, he's very much the Jedi Master of American Anime/Sci-Fi/Furrydom.
He's the first person I talked to when I went to my very first C/FO meeting somewhere in the wilds of Inglewood, CA. The room was full of VCRs connected into each other and tape-dubbing was in full effect. The actual programming almost seemed like an afterthought. This was back in '84 or '85.
I was starting to wonder what had happened to you! Welcome back! :)
