Undecided sibling

Well, looks like my (older) brother is not quite ready to say goodbye to our dog just yet.
He now wants to take care of this "some time this week".
Great. I spent most of yesterday getting mentally ready for this, and he changes his mind.
Now, he's just gonna spring it on me at some unknown time.
Dammit...
