Spidey Party!

Our launch of Spider-Man 2 cellphone games went pretty well and our sales are good, so it's time for a party!
The division boss got us the back room at Gotham Hall, a cool Santa Monica club/lounge/pool hall place.
We all headed there after work on Friday, and we had the back room to ourselves. Open bar and food!
They only way you could tell it was a Spidey party was because the nacho chips were red and blue! (snicker)

After snacking on the various snackies (BBQ pizza, taquitos, crab cakes, cheese, veggies, etc...),
I indulged in a pair of alcoholic beverages.
Firstly, I had a French Martini: Vodka, Triple-Sec, and Chambord liqueur. Tasty!
Secondly, I had a glass of Malibu rum with pineapple juice. Arrrrr!!
Yeah-yeah, I like fruity drinks. And you know why? 'Cause I still have taste buds!!
They've not been destroyed by glorified burning alcohol booze crap!

So anyway, that was fun. I stayed there until past 10pm, then caught a ride back from a coworker.
We stopped at Puzzle Zoo before leaving (it's a few doors up from Gotham Hall).
Puzzle Zoo is a toy store that specializes in collectibles and imported stuff.
They have all the Corgi Toys die-cast re-issues of the Bond cars and Yellow Submarine, for one thing.
They also carry a lot of "scalped" action figures and the harder, odder ones to find.
It's more of "a look and don't buy" place for most people, 'cause it's expensive and touristy, but it's fun to look at.

Anyway, me go crash now...
