Well, I feel better.
Actually, I felt better by the end of Friday.
I was just irked because of a confluence of various things.

I don't read LJ during the weekend, so I have a lot of catching up to do on my Friends list.
In the meantime, time for a quickie update and random bits of nonsense!



First off, thanks to porsupah for pointing me towards this.
That's right, kids! The French invented music videos! I saw one of these "scopitone" videos on American TV once.
I didn't recognize the song or the artist, but it was French and definitely looked like an artifact of the early '60s.
And who played such a thing on TV? Our good friend Pee-Wee Herman of course, in one of his "Pee-Wee's Playhouse" shows.
I always knew Pee-Wee was cool. And he's coming back! And Pee-Wee's Playhouse is coming out on DVDs!
Two box-sets! Get them now!



So I had this dream Saturday morning.
I dreamt I was protecting everyone's favorite incoherent falsetto Icelandic chick, Bjork.
Except that something had happened to Bjorkette and she was all weird and giggly and bouncy and generally behaved more
like (Radical) Ed(ward) (aka Françoise) from "Cowboy Bebop" (The Series) than Bjork the elven recording superstar.
Somebody was out to get her and I was her last line of defense. But frankly, my life was more in danger from her
irresponsible behavior than from any potential ninja hitmen that might be targeting her. Woe.
So yeah, White Knight complex, big time. Nothing new here, move along!
