So I figure Snoop Dogg is a PlayStation 2 kind of guy. I mean, yeah, he probably owns an X-Box too,
but he likes the PS2 best. I mean, I'm sure he don't wanna wait for Grand Theft Auto to get to the X-Box.
He gots to gets his GTA on, like, now, byatch!
Oh yeah, he's hosting some videogame award show on Spike TV or some shit like that. Whatever...

So the [livejournal.com profile] ea_spouse made it to today's front page of the Business section of the L.A. Times. Wow.
This thing has been slashdotted and it's on the IDSA website or is that the IGDSA? I forget. Anyway, more exposure!
This thing is building up and gaining momentum. Maybe EA will be strong-armed into making changes. Maybe not.
After all, that's capitalism. The labor force is a cheap, renewable resource that can be strip-mined at will.
Huzzah...

I went to Toys'R'Us recently and laughed my head off.
They're selling radio-controlled "bling-bling" cars of all sizes and types.
I saw large Cadillac Escalades with giant spinner rims.
There were H2s that were easily large enough for a small child to ride atop of.
One large Ford F350 pick-up had a bed full of speakers and a built-in FM radio.
I also saw radio-controlled "rice cookers" (insanely customized mostly Japanese cars).
(Dodge Neons, VW Golfs and Ford Focuses also get the rice treatment)
It's just a sign of the times. It's still pretty funny though...

The security guard at work sent us all a farewell e-mail today. No, he's not leaving. We are.
We're moving to a different building this weekend. He's gonna miss us. I'm gonna miss me too.
This move is not making me happy. No sir, I don't like it.

The sibling and I are still watching Smallville. Ever since it restarted in September, it's been nothing
but new episode after new episode. And tonight is no exception. That's pretty cool.
Some of the episodes have been pretty funny and corny. Well, it's a comicbook world after all.
It's certainly a lot better than that Bird Of Prey crap they threw at us last year, or whenever.
Smallville is pretty much the only thing I watch regularly on TV.

I still haven't seen The Incredibles. I need to save all my pennies to move to a new place.
I am not planning to see The Polar Express. I didn't grow up in the US, so I've never heard of the original
fairy tale/story/whatever, so I have no warm fuzzies that compel me to see it. And, frankly,
the character design creeps me out. It's firmly placed at the bottom of The Uncanny Valley for me.
I enjoyed The Spirits Within (the so-called Final Fantasy movie) a lot. At times I even forgot I was
watching CGI, albeit briefly, and mostly when watching the elderly and somewhat exhuberant Doctor Sid.
Also, some of the shots in this movie are astounding and look like oil paintings of intricate detail.
But Polar Express, brrrrr...

Okay, enough of this.
