"Honey? Where's my super suit?"
"There was me, that is Zrath, and my three droogs, that is Romy, DDR-Gal, and Pink-Nike, and we sat in the Slauson Break
Room trying to make up our rassoodocks what to do with our lunchtime. The Slauson Break Room was well-stocked with Sprite,
Diet Coke, Cafeine-Free Diet Coke and Coke which is what we were drinking. This would sharpen you up and make you ready
for a bit of the old ultra-violence..."
(Excerpt from "A Clockwork Kzinti")
Well, here we are, in the Slauson Facility.
I've got a big cube, a phone, and plenty of room to display my Hot Wheels and Star Wars Lego-Minis.
If this place had a shower and a dark room to put my futon mattress in, I could live here and save myself major headaches.
Time is running out and I must find a place by December 1st. I have a couple of possibles, but they're not guaranteed.
I continue combing through Craigslist.org for "rooms for rent" ads and answering any that fit the bill.
I'm starting to despair. I have a job and I work and I don't want to be on the street. Because if I'm on the street,
I can't do my job anymore and I can't make money anymore. I have no relatives to help me. Both my parents are deceased,
and the family in France doesn't give a shit about me or Pascal. The brother only has one gig in sight, and I don't even
know when that is. He had a possible deal for some mix CDs, but that seems to be on hold right now.
We're working hard on a special project to revive the name of our parents' legendary (in France) clothing store and turn it
into a branded line of clothing and accessories. A lot of paperwork and preparation must be done first to secure investment.
So much stuff to do, so little time.
Meanwhile life goes on...

Oh my freakin' god, this movie rocks SO hard!! I mean, I already love Brad Bird because of "The Iron Giant", but this
is getting ridiculous! This guy is too flippin' GOOD! There's enough tech in "The Incredibles" for 5 whole movies!
It's the best '60s spy movie about superheroes I have ever seen!
(Which, comes to think of it, means it's the ONLY '60s spy movie about superheroes I have ever seen. Buh?!?)
So yeah, believe the hype.
And this is a two-hour animated film! The last animated movie I saw that was two hours long was Japanese,
and I'll be darned if I can remember which one it was. It's got to be "Ghost In The Shell 2: Innocence".
And since we're naughty-naughty-naughty people, my brother and I theater-hopped and went to see "Ray".
I smell an Oscar nomination for Jamie Fox! He did a bang-up job as Ray Charles Robinson.
The whole movie is quite good and you must see it if you're a fan of Ray and his music, or just good music period.
It's over 2 and a half hours long though, so plan accordingly.
One thing we didn't see was the teaser trailer for "Star Wars Episode III: Revenge Of The Sith".
Boo on Pacific Theatres (if you spell it "Theaters", you can't find their website. Ijits!).
Thanksgiving is upon us, so it is the time to run around like the chickens with the head forcefully removed and shop for food.
El Chythar cancelled his travel plans because he's not feeling well, and Kitty is not going anywhere, and since Pascal
and I don't have relatives in the US, we're all gonna spend Thanksgiving here, like one big happy dysfunctional family.
Pascal will go food shopping today and he'll cook our thanksgiving dinner.
I plan to pull my Tex Avery laserdisc box-set from storage tomorrow and have cartoons running in the background all day.
Especially "Jerky Turkey", which is ooooooh so appropriate.
Well, that's all for now.
I wish you and yours a Happy Thanksgiving.
Happy napping!
