Sing, you bastard!!!
Hi there!
Been busy.
Can't really talk.
Taking care of brother post-operation AND me job takes a lot of my time.
Have Netflixing to post about.
Will do that later.
For now, wanted to mention that I had popped my Karaoke cherry last night.
I sang "Poison Arrow" by ABC in front of 100 people at the Jamdat Mobile New Year Party!
(New Year party in mid-November, yeah, go figure)
The crowd seemed to dig it, especially when a voluptuous female started dancing up against me!
I was concentrating hard on singing the song right, so I didn't enjoy the rubbing as much as I could have.
Also, my right hand, which held the microphone, shook violently.
I stared at it in mild disbelief and switched to my left hand, which remained rock-steady.
Toward the end of the night, I pressed my luck and tried another song.
I attempted "Jump Around" by House Of Pain.
And I totally fucked it up, 'cause I don't the words that well, and the delivery is machine-gun fast.
I should have picked something with slower verbage, like a Public Enemy track or something.
Ah well...
Free food, free drinks, drunken and sober karaoke. Good times!
These guys know how to party, unlike the stoic Sony people.
Aaaaaanyway, gotta go.
Will probably post during the weekend, if Pascal lets me.
I know we're going to the movies, but I'm unsure what we're gonna see.
There's "Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire" on IMAX (WOOH!!!), "Walk The Line", "Jarhead", etc...
Have a good weekend!
