That reminds me of one thing I've heard that makes me glad I went with airsoft. The ammunition flies faster and is harder, but it's so much lighter that it's reputed to hurt appreciably less on impact.
...which is good because almost everyone has full auto. :D
Of course, that also depends on the KE/FPS rules in place at the venue. Some of the guys in CA upgrade their guns well beyond what's allowed at most of the fields around here.
