Commenting not on the wonderful thread, but your page, with the quote from 2010. Don't know if you're looking at fur affinity or Artspots, but I posted an old image of an illo I did of the Titov/Leonov and Discovery and the Big One in orbit around Jupiter, based on the book rather than the vile movie. I did a pile of fan art from the book at the time, designing the ship and even a Russian mission T-shirt with the orginal Gherman Titov.
