Even if I can't (yet) contribute to the Kickstarter, it's very good to see it's doing so well - they're seeking more than chump change, after all, but they're now up to $3.4m, good for six episodes. Even if it went no further than that, six new episodes, complete with a new crew, will be a joy. ^_^ (And there's always the MFT3K episodes, too!)

Tex Avery's pretty much my favorite of the "golden age" animation directors: for his more standalone "House of Tomorrow" and similar one-shots, all of Screwy Squirrel, and naturally, his influence on Bugs Bunny. (I still can't quite understand how WB could let the TTA/Animaniacs crew just dissipate like that! For the first time in decades, they had some serious comedic animation talent assembled. Still, TTA and Animaniacs remain, plus the odd special, particularly How I Spent My (Summer) Vacation)
