Nothing much to report, just busy-busy-busy.
I did want to post this link though:
It's steampunk, it's Japanese, it's Flash, and it's funny.Iron Giant is still the best animated movie I have ever seen.
The Incredibles comes second.
After that, it's a toughie.

*sigh* It's such a pity CDD fell between the cracks as it did, through no fault of its own - it simply happened to be produced by Turner Feature Animation, and completed at the same time the Time-Warner deal went through. So Warner essentially treated it as something to kick out the door and leave to fend for itself.. For my money, it's head and shoulders above most of Disney's works, for having much more complex, genuine characters, such as Sawyer, who's almost forgotten just why she came to Hollywood in the first place.
And that Flash is definitely going into my next entry. ^_^ Gods, it's really impressive to see the caliber of work being produced by individual animators and artists.. from actual short films like that, to just nifty demo pieces, like the head-banging geisha or the Beatles. Mousie, yay!

Oh yeah, "Cats Don't Dance" is in there somewhere. Dude, Gene Kelly!!
I don't really like musicals, but there are a few I enjoy:
"Singing In The Rain", "1776", "Cats Don't Dance", urrrr...
Ghibli-wise, there's "Nausicaa" and "Totoro" that I really like.
The others are okay.
