Yay for faster drives! Going from my coal-fired 4x CD-R to a 16x DVD-R was.. quite an experience. Rebates, of course.. :-P Think my Umax rebate for a scanner in 1998 may've set some kind of record, taking something around six months.
That LUGOLA gathering does sound like fun! Be sure to take a camera along, or be prepared to draw really quickly.
