It's Sunday! And I'm at work.
Looks like we're starting with the weekend work again.
Cool, I could use the extra money.
And we have doggies in the house! Jack, an Australian Shepherd, and Samantha, a German Shepherd.
Jack belongs to my cool manager, Sam to one of the programmers.
Jack is a puppy and shy. Sam is older and outgoing. Highjinks ensued!

Zero The Zero!
I have made the decision to cut down on sodas drastically. I will continue consuming carbonated water, but I will
eliminate diet sodas completely, and have one normal non-diet soda once a week tops so I'll make it a good one,
with real sugar instead of high fructose corn syrup crap. Or aspartame/Nutrasweet crap.
I'm drinking at least 3 cans a day and all that crap just can't be good for me.
I will continue drinking plenty of water, and the occasional Gatorade when I get dehydrated.
The main reason I drink soda is for the carbonation, that's why I often rant about flat fountain soda.
And that's also why I would sometimes bring my own bottled soda to a restaurant, to be sure I had my bubbles.
The Asshole Formerly Known As Canuss once got on my case for that, and for my general food pickiness.
Dude, I'm French! I grew up wealthy middle-class in France! I have my standards! :D
Anyway, I need the carbonation to digest food properly. My internal HVAC piping is weird and oversized.
So, more carbonated water like Perrier and Gerolsteiner and Trader Joe's German sparkling brand.
I have 2 Coke Zero cans at home right now. Once they're gone, that's it. I will buy carbonated water instead.
Comparing the cost of a Coke Zero 12-pack VS the equivalent in TJ sparkling water (4 1-liter bottles), it winds
up costing the same. And since a 1-liter bottle is equal to my usual daily 3 cans, it works out fine.
We'll see what kind of changes will ensue from this. It should be interesting.

Bad voice actress, bad!
So I was watching the most recent episode of "Clone Wars" and I noticed something weird.
And I'm not talking about the lemur people either!
It has Aayla Secura in it, the blue Twi'lek Jedi master, and the voice actress chose to perform her voice with
a faint accent that I found hard to pin down at first. Eventually, I realized it was the kind of accent a
cultured native of Spain would have after having mastered English many years ago.
However, at one point, for 5 complete minutes, she changed to a horrible fake French accent.
It made no sense at all.
After the 5 minutes, she goes back to the Dona Secura accent.
And then, in the promo for the next episode, she's back on the fake French accent!
Buh?
Holy crap woman! Pick an accent and stick to it!

Battlescar Angstactica
I watched the new episode of everybody's favorite post 9/11 pseudo sci-fi angstfest last night.
Man, I'm so glad I am not emotionally involved in this show. It would be pure torture.
I do have one thing to say to Ronald D. Moore though:
