Ain't done a Random in a while.
This one was snapped waaaaaay back in February, hence the lack of blue in the sky.
This is the sign for the Bad News Bears Field in West Los Angeles.
It's a baseball field and park sandwiched between Sepulveda Blvd. and the infamous 405 Freeway.
It's named after a series of films starring an alcoholic coach and his team of unruly kids.
The actual baseball field used in the original movie is in Chatsworth though, in The Valley.
Research indicates that the movie's screenwriter played on the West L.A. field for a couple of years,
and after he passed away, his friends petitioned the L.A. Dept. of Rec. and Parks to rename it thus.
