Cute and fluffy!!!

Hey kids!
It's been a while since there's been a fluffy post here, so I think it's time for a fluffy post.
So how about that LJ outage, heh?
I feel for the poor San Frandiscans who were left in the dark because of the mysterious power outages.
Next time, don't plug so many gizmos into the power strip, guys!
Y'all should build a nice safe French nuclear power plant right in San Jose. Or Vallejo. :)
That should keep all those servers running just fine and Unimatrix One humming along.
Current favorite Gatorade flavor: Strawberry Kiwi Rain.
Second favorite: Lime Rain.
Current ringtone: "Sixteen Tons" by Tennessee Ernie Ford.
This will change once I get my new phone from T-Mobile.
Oh yes, Amp'd Mobile is going under, so I'm losing my cellphone.
And also my job. So I'm in the market for a new job.
Dang it, that's not very fluffy.
Must try harder!
Nerd Prom (aka Comic Con International, aka San Diego ComiCon, aka CommieCon) is this weekend and I will not be there.
They actually managed to completely sell out on Saturday, which is something I've never seen happen ever.
To those who are going, have fun storming the castle!! :)
Brickshelf.com, the online library of Lego user creations, was going to shut down July 31st, but there was a reprieve.
I'm not sure what the deal is but I bet it has something to do with the cost of running the thing.
As soon as the admin figures out a way people can send in money, I will scrape a little something together and send it.
I like browsing Brickshelf and seeing the strange and wacky and painfully detailed things people build.
Here are three neat things from a French Lego users expo, called "Fanabriques":
("Fanatiques" [Fanatics] + "Briques" [Bricks] = "Fanabriques"!)
Lifesize replica of a Bugatti race car (not the Veyron). Back view.
The gorgeous main starship from a French cartoon series called "Ulysses 31".
The Moon Rocket from the two-part Tintin graphic novel ("Destination Lune", "On A Marché Sur La Lune").
Don't know If I have posted this one before, it's a giant asteroid muncher and it looks like something the Empire would use.
Neat stuff. Makes me wanna build things.

THOUGH... it might not be from that. The nuclear ash spread as far as Aurora and mebbe further. But there's also radium or radon mines out here. There is a spot not far from the bedroom window here where my RC car will be running fine with a fresh charged battery and suddenly... it stops. I can be standing on top of the thing and it just sits there jerking around.
I have been in poor health since we moved out to this town. That's why we're fightin' hard to get out.
Say, where you live?
