Fire futon torpedoes!

Greetings out there in LJ-Land.
'Tis I, the Kzin, with another short and terse entry typed in into the wee hours.
Another week comes to a close and my day off looms ahead.
I managed to only work 69 hours this week. Blargh...

Aside from working on The Website on Sunday, I want to buy a new futon mattress.
Mine is over 10 years old and really thin and the inside is all falling apart and clumping.
So it's really high time for a replacement.
I'm not sure HOW I will get said futon mattress back to my place.
My roommate drives a Mustang convertible. Maybe we can place one end of the futon into the
ridiculously-small back seats and drape the futon over the trunk. Or something. I don't know.
It's a pretty short drive anyway. We will see.

Netflixing!
I saw the final DVD of "Ghost In The Shell: Stand Alone Complex". Holy crap!!
Where do they go from here? Is there a second season?
I also saw "Downfall", an excellent German movie about Hitler and the last days of his regime.
It's based on the memoirs of Hitler's personal secretary, Fraudl Jung. She was in the bunker until the end.
It's a tour-de-force and I highly recommend it. It's not for the squeamish. This is a frank and direct film.
Next up are "Sin City" and "Alexander" (Director's Cut). One or both will be viewed tomorrow.

I love my local videogame/DVD store. I dropped by after work tonight and found two cool used DVDs:
"Titan AE" (defective narrative but sumptious visuals!) and "Ah My Goddess: The Movie" (Hi Urd!).
Price paid? $6.99 each. Le W00T!!!

Argh, must go bed! Now!
