So I went to see "King Kong".

Short review: go see it. NOW. Before the crowds hit the theaters this weekend. Because it will be HELL then!!

This movie is a grand spectacle.
This is why we go to the movies!

The casting is fantastic, because it does not distract from the story.
The actors disappear in their parts.

I won't say more, I shan't spoil it.
It truly is worth seeing on the big screen.
Go see it.
Now.
Yes, even you, the fan of the original.
ESPECIALLY you!
Because no matter how big a fan you are, Peter Jackson is a bigger fan than you.

I haven't seen it. I plan on seeing it. All I can say is that from the trailers, Jackson did his research, and that it looked like the real shit. I think that at this point, we can say that Jackson is danm religious about researching classics he wants to do. I can't wait to see this film.
