ZOMG it's 2011!
Well, it will be by the time you read this.
So I want to wish you all "une bonne et heureuse année"!
(Good and happy [new] year!)

I bought myself some New Year's Eve treats and they were delicious!
The victims included paté de foie gras, alaskan sockeye smoked salmon, and sourdough demi-baguettes.
I'm just staying home, hanging out on Furrymuck and ringing in the New Year with the other weirdos.
I'm also cleaning out an old dresser prior to tossing it out. It was salvaged from somewhere and looks like crap.
It will be replaced by a couple of Ikea dressers that will house the bulk of my CD collection.
That should occupy my weekend nicely. This apartment needs to be whipped into shape.

Meanwhile, it is my great pleasure to announce the return of ZonieCon!
Yes, the rootin'est tootin'est shootin'est furry con North, South, East & West of the Pecos is back!
It's been ten long years since the last one was held and people have been wondering if it would ever return.
Well, it has, and in its hometown of Tucson, AZ, at a rather nice-looking hotel called Hotel Tucson.
I was at the last ZonieCon in 2001 and this new hotel is a far cry from the crappy Executive Inn we were at.
That hotel had decided to begin renovation and conveniently forgotten some of the con space.
We still had fun but damn! The Executive Inn didn't help any.
This new hotel looks downright swanky compared to the old one.
So anyway, ZonieCon 2011 will be held on September 30th through October 2nd 2011.
There's no website yet but there is an LJ community that will be kept updated: zoniecon
I'm looking forward to it, I've always had fun at ZonieCons.
Please spread the word to others who might be interested in ZonieCon's special brand of furry mayhem and fun!
