Hey, I have a question about the movies you watch - when you order them from Netflix, do you download them, or do they send them to you in the mail?

Netflix sends DVDs through the mail in custom envelopes which can be resealed and mailed back.
You open an account on their website and build up a queue of DVDs that you prioritize.
They mail stuff based on your queue. If an item is out, they mail you the next one in your queue.
Turnaround time for me is about 3 working days (they're closed weekends).
For example: I mail a movie on Monday (Day 1).
Netflix gets it Tuesday (Day 2), and they mail me a new movie.
I receive the new movie on Wednesday (Day 3).
This is the absolute best case scenario. It sometimes takes more time.
If they mail something on Friday, I usually get it on Saturday.

Overall, it's a good service.
The only problem is when a movie is popular and it sometimes takes weeks before it's available.
But you can watch something else in the meantime, since they keep mailing you stuff.

For about $20/month, you can have 3 movies out at a time.
You can opt to have 1 to 10 movies out at a time, but 3 seems most sensible.
Return them when you're good and ready.

Why you no like Ghost Ship? It wasn't as good as Lost Voyage (I have a prop from that one)
Also... what is with the French and Popcorn?
Popcorn makes me poot.
And Ghost Rider will be making a speedy trip to video!

I didn't like "Ghost Ship". The opening scene with the ginzu-cable was really distasteful
and struck me as a "Final Destination" trick. I like spooky films, not gorefests.
The acting was bad, the script sucked, the effects were excessive.
I'm never watching another Dark Castle film EVAR!

Popcorn is really an American thing. I mean, corn originally comes from America.
Popcorn is not part of the French moviegoing experience.
Candy, chocolate, caramels, ice cream, sodas, those are French movie food.
It's probably expanded since to include hot dogs and fries and possibly even popcorn.

I do agree with some on that movie. There were some puzzle pieces that didn't fit together quite right. I liked it, but more for the idea than anything else.
Lost Voyage was far more entertaining in my opinion. The special effects were minimal since it was a small budget movie. Think along the lines of Ghostbusters. It's a very similar idea as Ghost Ship. But again, I may be viewing it as being more in love with the idea than the movie itself. (That and I own one of the ghosts from the movie.)

I definately prefer chocolate to popcorn. One of the biggest reasons I want to go to France is, naturally, the food and the history. A lot of people don't even consider exploring the more grizzly history France has, they want to see all the beauty and so on. Me, I wanna see the darker side of its history. (Guess just because i'm a sick-o)

LOL!!!

Why yes, she's due to star in a new reimagining of two classic '50s b-movies.
The lead roles of both films have been combined into one character that she will play.

The film's working title is "The Amazing Colossal Glen Or Glenda".

I can't praise The Godfather enough. The cinematography and lighting is really well-done, and worth a look.
